While Anthony Rizzo has seemingly been rejuvenated by embracing the Taylor Swift hype, two of his New York Yankees teammates are on the other end of the sonic spectrum, as the pair of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton was recently spotted at Drake's concert at Madison Square Garden.
There's nothing wrong about two Yankees superstars appearing at a Drake concert. It's not every day that Champagne Papi stages a concert in the Big Apple. Stanton and Judge are just two big dudes looking to enjoy some Drake.
Plus, the Yankees are winning again, having just swept the Kansas City Royals in a three-game series at home. Stanton even went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 8-5 win over the Royals. Judge, on the other hand, is still on the injured list, though, he appears to be getting closer and closer to a return. He has not played a game since early June when he suffered a lower-body injury in a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The hope for New York still is that Judge will get back to action sooner than later.
With the Yankees playing sweet music again on the field, New York fans are once again left hoping that the team will win more games and get out of their division's cellar. At the moment, the Yankees are last in the American League East division with a 53-47 record — 7.5 g names out of first place.
Stanton and the Yankees can extend their win streak with an upcoming series at home against the New York Mets.
