Canadian engineer YouTube channel Hacksmith Industries rose to the top with its amusing range of engineering projects. The mad lads at Hacksmith take technology featured in movies, games, and comics and tries to bring them to the real world. James Hobson, Hacksmith founder and CEO, often reminds his fans that his end goal will always be a full Iron Man suit. However, for now, they'll have to do with a recreation of Fuse's Rocket Arm from Apex Legends. It's no Iron-Man suit but it's definitely fun to play with.

LIGHT THE FUSE

The Rocket Arm is only the latest in a long line of pop culture engineering projects by Hacksmith Industries. Their wide array of projects include real-life versions of Captain America's Vibranium Shield, a fully-functional Iron-Man helmet, and Wolverine's claws. Millions of viewers tune in to Hackmisth Industries' meticulously crafted engineering projects. Naturally, their accurate projects got the attention of the publishers behind Apex Legends.

EA backed the project by sponsoring Hacksmith Industries' latest engineering marvel. James “The Hacksmith” Hobson talks viewers through the design and development process for the Fuse Rocket Arm. The real-life Rocket Arm comes nowhere near to the actual throwing power of Fuse's in-game prosthetic but it's still extremely entertaining. The Hacksmith himself demonstrated the throwing capabilities of their new pet project by shooting numerous projectiles. Hacksmith engineers went so far as to craft a replica of an Apex Legend Arc Star to give the project that authentic feel.

Hobson talks unceasingly about his drive to inspire aspiring engineers around the world with his company's projects. Additionally, it's ultimately every fan's dream to create real-life versions of famous weapons and technology. Additionally, the Hacksmith Industries channel even has multiple projects featuring different builds of Star Wars lightsabers. Above all, The Hacksmith's dedication to proper engineering and love of pop culture remains his channel's strongest point.
