After a thorough search, the New York Giants have found their new head coach in Brian Daboll. This is a massive move for this franchise, as they've been at the bottom of the league for quite some time. Now, New York aims to get back on track with this massive hire. We take a look at what Daboll brings to the table with some of our Giants' predictions in mind.

New York still needs some work to improve the roster, but they have some promising pieces in place. The defense played better than many believe while the offense has some key weapons to make them a threat. Considering Brian Daboll is an elite offensive-minded coach, the Giants could become better much sooner than expected.

For that reason, we could see a young receiver emerge as a top target next season. The Buffalo Bills did a great job of feeding the ball to Stefon Diggs, so Daboll may look for someone to play that type of role. Furthermore, we could finally see Daniel Jones take a huge leap in production and be the franchise quarterback the Giants believed he could be when they drafted him.

With that said, here are three bold Giants predictions for Brian Daboll.

Giants Predictions for Brian Daboll

3. Giants offense catapults into the top half of the league

Brian Daboll can be credited for the Bills' insane offense these last few years. They've been a high-scoring, high-flying squad, and now that coaching is coming to New York. With Saquaon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, and Kadarius Toney in the lineup, the Giants could make a huge leap in production on the offense.

If the Giants can do that, they could become a playoff contender next year. We saw the Cincinnati Bengals make the leap this season, so it's not impossible to think New York can too. Look for Daboll to lead a solid offense during his tenure with this franchise.

2. Kadarius Toney becomes the top receiver on the team

Kadarius Toney flashed potential during his rookie campaign, but it was an underwhelming season for the most part. Regardless, Toney has some serious talent and could be in for a huge role for the Giants next year. It'll be interesting to see how he adjusts to Daboll's scheme, but he is bound to be utilized often.

Toney tends to do the most damage on screen passes or short slants. He has a unique skill set that makes him dangerous in those situations. However, Brian Daboll will aim to unlock Kadarius Toney's potential as a wide receiver. Look for the Giants to use their young receiver as much as possible next season.

1. Brian Daboll turns Daniel Jones' career around

Nobody is really sure how to evaluate Daniel Jones. In some games he looks great, others he looks completely lost. He's had a rough go so far, as the Giants haven't done enough to help develop him. Now, Jones has Daboll running the ship and things should become easier for New York's quarterback.

This is Daniel Jones' final chance to prove he has what it takes to be a starter in the NFL. With how Daboll developed Josh Allen so quickly, Jones has a chance to make strides in his development. If he can do that, he will be the Giants starting quarterback for years to come. If not, then don't be shocked to see New York find his replacement in the 2023 NFL Draft.
