In the AFC Championship Game, the Kansas City Chiefs will face the Cincinnati Bengals for a chance to play in the Super Bowl.

If Kansas City wants to win this game, Patrick Mahomes will have to keep being the best quarterback in the world, and there's no reason to think he'll do anything different on Sunday. Mahomes will face Joe Burrow, one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, and whichever performs better out of the two will most likely lead his side to victory.

Let's take a look at three bold predictions for Patrick Mahomes as his Chiefs team takes on the Bengals for a chance at the Super Bowl.

Patrick Mahomes Bold Predictions AFC Championship Game

3. Patrick Mahomes throws for over 300 yards and three touchdowns

Patrick Mahomes is almost automatically penciled in for over 300 throwing yards before a game. There's a chance he'll have more than 375 yards on Sunday because the Chiefs will have to score practically every time they have the ball because of how good the Bengals offense can be if they're on their game on Sunday.

Kansas City will have to pass the ball for the majority of their offensive play calls, allowing Patrick Mahomes to comfortably top 300 yards and toss three touchdowns.

2. Has to have some magic, but not as much as the Bills game

This is likely to be a high-scoring game since both offenses have been among the best in the NFL all season, and although neither defense is bad by any means, they aren't elite. Patrick Mahomes will have to accomplish some of the same things he did against the Buffalo Bills a week ago, but it won't be as wild as needing to score in the last seconds of the game and then win the game in overtime.

If the Chiefs want to beat the Bengals on Sunday, Mahomes will have to help them score at a high level, and he'll have to do some insane things on the field. The Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes, as everyone knows, always finds a way to win, so there's no reason to think they won't do it again on Sunday.

1. Chiefs advance to the Super Bowl because of his stellar play

The Kansas City Chiefs are clearly more talented than the Cincinnati Bengals, and despite the Bengals giving them a hard time for parts of the game and making it difficult for them, the Chiefs will be able to win and proceed to another Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes will perform like the best quarterback in the world, which he arguably is. There can only be an argument made that two quarterbacks are better than him, but it is difficult to argue that anyone in the world is better than Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.

There's no doubt that the Bengals will get things done on offense because they have one of the best offenses in the NFL, as we've seen all season, but Patrick Mahomes will be too much for budding star Joe Burrow and the rest of this Bengals club.
