The Green Bay Packers have gotten off to a quick 3-1 start after a mind-boggling drubbing at the hands of the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. Three straight wins and all is fine in the land of cheese now as the Packers sit atop the NFC North.

In large part, it's been the same cast of characters stepping up in a big way for the Packers.

Here are the 4 best Packers players through the first 4 weeks of the 2021 NFL season.

Aaron Rodgers

This one is beyond obvious so we'll get it out of the way right from the jump.

The reigning MVP hasn't been as sharp to start this season as he was last year but everyone knows, the Packers go as Aaron Rodgers goes.

Over the last three weeks, Rodgers has started to find his groove and he looked at his best when the Packers beat the San Francisco 49ers on the road in Week 3. Rodgers led a last minute drive with Green Bay trailing by one and got them in field goal range before Mason Crosby hammered home a 51-yarder as time expired.

Green Bay has been battered by injuries to key players with many hitting the shelf but as long as Rodgers is upright and in that huddle every week, the Packers always have a really good chance.

Davante Adams

Rodgers' favorite target, Davante Adams has been in demon mode since a quiet Week 1 outing against the Saints.

Adams is proving once again why he is one of, if not the best wide receiver in all of football.

While he only has one touchdown this year for the Packers, the No. 1 wideout in Green Bay has been top tier everywhere else.

Against the Lions in Week 2, it was 8 catches for 121 yards for Adams. The very next week, he toasted the 49ers' secondary to the tune of 12 receptions for 132 yards. Most recently, the Pittsburgh Steelers went with the method of keeping two guys on Adams for much of the game and he still produced 6 catches for 64 yards.

The Rodgers – Adams duo is as lethal as it gets and they have helped pace the way for the Packers' offense so far this year.

Jaire Alexander

This did say through four weeks, correct?

It's noteworthy because at the end of the Steelers game in Week 4, Alexander left with a shoulder injury that still has no clarity for the Packers.

Head coach Matt LaFleur has said they are trying to avoid surgery “at all costs” and if Alexander does indeed need surgery, it will likely end his season for the Packers.

Alexander had been up to his normal self through the first four weeks playing shutdown ball at the corner spot. While Packers fans and the team know how critical he is to the operation, they may now find out the hard way just how much he matters in his absence.

Next up for Green Bay is a date with the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are 3-1 and are being brought up because of their incredible trio at wide receiver. Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Ja'Marr Chase have flat out been a problem for opposing secondaries this year. Without Alexander, it could spell a lot of trouble for the Packers.

The hope is that the shoulder injury will only keep Alexander out for a little bit of time. If he does indeed miss the rest of the season, Green Bay's Super Bowl chances take a big hit. He's that good and he's that valuable to the Packers and their hopes of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the year.

Kenny Clark

The big fellas up front deserve some love too!

Kenny Clark has been a terror for opposing offensive lines again this year.

With the absence of Za'Darius Smith off the edge for the Packers, there were questions as to how it could affect the rest of the group up front. Preston Smith and Rashan Gary have been real good on the edge and Clark has done his job brillinatly.

If you're a box score searcher, the stats don't instantly pop up. When you go back and watch the tape, Clark is constantly disrupting plays on numerous occasions every week.

This Packers defense has legitimate talent across the board on defense and one of those top tier players is certainly Clark. It often goes unnoticed because it's natural to follow along with who has the ball or take note of an array of other things during a game. However, it's fairly satisfying watching Clark bulldoze his way through an offensive line on a consistent basis week in and week out for Green Bay.
