The NFL offseason is about to be in full swing and everyone is excited for free agency and the NFL draft. Often many people overlook trades as a way for their favorite team to improve.

So what trades need to happen that could shake up the NFL? Let's break four of them down.

Cam Newton to the Chicago Bears

The Bears continue to say that Mitchell Trubisky is their option going forward at quarterback, but that is a big mistake if they are telling the truth.

Newton has one year left on his contract and is set to make $21.1 million. It's unclear if the Panthers want to keep him long term. The Bears have the defense to be a Super Bowl contender, but the offense continues to let them down. It would be hard to trade more first-round picks to Newton, but if they could trade a second or third-round pick, plus maybe a player for his services, the Bears need to get it done.

Newton makes him an instant Super Bowl contender. Something they aren't if Trubisky is under center.

Nick Foles to the Philadelphia Eagles

Financially this probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense for the Eagles, but the Jaguars should be doing everything in their power to get his contract off their books. Foles still has three years left on his deal, and there isn't a potential out until after this season.

Carson Wentz still hasn't completed a playoff game yet. The team needs to bring someone in who can step up when he goes down with his next injury. Foles has already led the Eagles to the Super Bowl. Maybe if Wentz goes down with injury he could get the job done again?

Stefon Diggs to the Las Vegas Raiders

Stefon Diggs at times hasn't looked happy in Minnesota, and with the Vikings lack of cap space heading into next season, there are going to be some tough decisions that need to be made.

Diggs at times has looked unhappy in Minnesota. He should bring back a big haul of draft picks or players if the Vikings were to ship him off.

The Raiders are looking for some star players as they make the move to Las Vegas and Diggs would be the perfect guy for the job.

Matthew Stafford to the Las Vegas Raiders

The Lions hold the third pick in the NFL Draft, and there is a chance they could select a quarterback with that selection. If that is the direction they are going in, it would make a lot of sense for the team to ship off Matthew Stafford to the Raiders.

The Raiders are building a good NFL roster, and Stafford is still a top-level quarterback if he can stay healthy. Derek Carr is far too inconsistent and a quarterback upgrade could do them well.

There will already be a lot of excitement with the team making the move to Las Vegas, and trading for Stafford would only increase that.
