The Indianapolis Colts lost to the Tennessee Titans in Week 13. That dropped their record to 6-6 on the season. Even worse, it moved them to third place in the AFC South and put them behind the Pittsburgh Steelers for the final Wild Card spot.

Due to that, there is really zero room for error when it comes to their last four games. If the Colts want to make the playoffs, they are going to have to win at least three of their last four games.

In Week 14, Indianapolis is going up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Can they win though? Here are four reasons the Colts will defeat the Buccaneers in Week 14.

4. Marlon Mack

One of the major stars of the Indianapolis offense has been Marlon Mack in 2019. He has 862 yards and four touchdowns on 192 carries (4.5 yards per carry). Meanwhile, Mack has 12 receptions for another 76 yards.

Oh, and he's done that in just 10 games.

Mack has missed the last two outings though. The Colts lost both those games. In the 10 games he has played, the 6-6 team is 6-4. Clearly, he's an important piece of the offense.

In fact, you could argue he's the most valuable single player on the offense, that's how good Mack has been in 2019.

He's listed as questionable right now, but there's a pretty decent chance he actually plays in Week 14 against the Buccaneers.

Speaking of Tampa Bay. They allow just 76.3 rushing yards per game. That's the second-fewest in the NFL.

If the Colts want to win, they'll likely need to get something going on the ground. And if they want to have any form of a running game, they will need Mack.

3. Jameis Winston Turnovers

Jameis Winston, Buccaneers

Jameis Winston is second in the NFL in passing yards (3,659). He's also sixth in passing touchdowns with 22.

However, Winston is first in the NFL in interceptions with 20 (the second-highest is Philip Rivers with 15). And he's fumbled the ball 12 times as well.

So, you know, turnovers are kind of a major problem for Winston.

Now, that being said, the Colts have not been great at getting takeaways. They have 15 on the season, which puts them closer to the bottom of the league than it does to the top.

So it's not like this is the biggest weakness of the Buccaneers going up against the strength of the Colts. However, that might make this even better.

Indianapolis has managed to go 6-6 this year without a defense that forces a lot of turnovers. Now they get to play a team that does nothing but turn the ball over.

If Winston struggles once again with turnovers, suddenly the Colts are doing something they haven't really done most of the year. It's hard not to envision that helping them win.

2. Offensive Line

Quenton Nelson

The Indianapolis offensive line is ridiculous. Everyone knows that at this point. They have allowed 24 sacks on the year. That's 10th best in the NFL. They also are one of the best run-blocking units in the entire league.

Meanwhile, Tampa Bay has 33 sacks, making them about the league average.

So this offensive line should be able to give Jacoby Brissett a ton of time in the pocket. That will help him make the right reads and right throws. And as we've seen this year, when given time, Brissett can look absolutely fantastic.

This will also help the run game. Remember how good that Tampa Bay run defense is? An elite line like the one the Colts have could help to balance things out and take away some of the advantages the Buccaneers have when it comes to that area of the game.

1. Due for a Win

Jacoby Brissett, Colts

The Colts are on a two-game losing streak right now. That's the tied for the longest of their season. They haven't lost three games in a row yet.

The two teams they lost to were the Houston Texans (8-4) by three, and the Titans (7-5) by 14.

So an extremely close game against an elite team and a game they let get away from them against a very good team. Both divisional rivals.

Now they get to face a sub-.500 team that has just one win over a team with a winning record (the 7-5 Los Angeles Rams.

Indianapolis is in desperate need of a win. They might be getting the return of their star running back, and they are facing an average team while trying to keep their first three-game losing streak of the season to happen.

All things point towards the Colts picking up the much-needed win. Too many things are happening for them right now.

You could call it a desperate win if you want, but it could also be considered a statement win. They aren't going away in the playoff race just yet.
