The San Francisco 49ers take on the Philadelphia Eagles next weekend in a rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game.

49ers star Deebo Samuel took multiple opportunities to talk trash on the Eagles and their fans over the offseason, and didn't back down Monday when asked if he regretted it:

Said the 49ers star, “I don't regret anything I said.”

Sameul appeared on the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast in February and took some time to look back at the 49ers’ NFC Championship game defeat to the Eagles. Veteran cornerbacks Darius Slay and James Bradberry have been lauded as of late for their keen contributions in the Eagles’ run to Super Bowl 57, but Samuel believes that the two defensive backs have garnered too much credit for Philadelphia’s success on defense this year.

“The D-line makes both of them All-Pros,” Samuel said.

Samuel added that while he does “respect” Slay, he is not much fond of Bradberry.

“Trash,” Samuel said of Bradberry.

In May, the 49ers star took it a step further – telling Complex Sports, “My most hated team is the Eagles right now. 100 percent. All the trash talk coming from the Eagles players and fanbase, you just get tired of that.”

“We lost because we played with 10 people,” Samuel said. “I ain't going to keep going on about what could've happened and what would've happened but yeah, it would've definitely been a different outcome (if healthy).
