The San Francisco 49ers have had everything looking their way in recent weeks. They're making a strong push for a playoff spot in the NFC and need a big win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. However, Deebo Samuel's latest injury update brings major concerns to San Francisco's chances.

According to Adam Schefter, “Deebo Samuel, Trey Sermon, and Maurice Hurst” are all ruled out against the Seahawks. The 49ers might be in trouble on Sunday, as Samuel has been the most electric and consistent option on offense.

This injury is brutal timing for a 49ers team trying to fight their way back into playoff contention. Deebo Samuel has been an incredibly versatile weapon for San Francisco and they will miss him dearly in Week 13. Luckily for them, the Seahawks have a putrid defense and might not need Samuel to defeat Seattle.

It'll be interesting to see how this game plays out. Kyle Shanahan will have to get creative and find other outlets to move the ball down the field. Brandon Aiyuk will be in line for an increased role while George Kittle should continue to be involved as well. Between those two, the 49ers passing attack should be just fine.

With Trey Sermon out of the lineup as well, look for Elijah Mitchell to become the workhorse back. The 49ers are a run-first offense, which bodes well for Mitchell's chances against the Seahawks. This is a game San Francisco should win, but not having Deebo Samuel in the lineup could become a problem if the injury lingers.
