The San Francisco 49ers are gearing up to face the Washington Commanders this week, so naturally Chase Young facing his former team is a big topic. Nick Bosa spoke about Chase Young's impact with the 49ers, and gave him a glowing review.

“I feel like he's done an amazing job,” Nick Bosa said, via David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. “I think he's gotten better each week, and he continues to get better. And this week is a huge one for him. He's already pretty hyped up about it and excited, so we're going to try and play our best game for him.”

The Commanders decided to sell of both Chase Young and Montez Sweat ahead of the trade deadline this year. They decided to move on from the pass rushers due to the state of the team, and the perception they had that they would not be able to sign either of the two to long-term deals.

Montez Sweat was traded to the Chicago Bears, and he signed a long-term extension there, as he tries to be a big part of what Ryan Poles is building. Young is still set to be a free agent after this season, and it seems that it might just be a short stint with the 49ers, as they have a ton of talent they have to play. Regardless, Young is trying to add a Super Bowl ring this season with San Francisco.

The 49ers are looking to bounce back from a loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday, and secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC over the next two weeks.
