Nick Bosa can't wait for the 2021 NFL season to start. The San Francisco 49ers defensive end is slowly recovering from his torn ACL he suffered in Week 2 against the New York Jets. Now, he wants the world to know that he's going to be better than ever.

The 2019 Defensive Rookie of the Year, who has been rather low-key with his status ever since his injury, spoke with Josina Anderson of ESPN recently and put out a bold statement on his impending return to the gridiron.

“You'll see my progress on the field next year. Tell them I'm gonna get better,” the 49ers star said, via NBC Sports.

There were a lot of expectations for Nick Bosa in his second year in the NFL after an incredible rookie campaign with the 49ers. After all, he ended his first year in the Bay Area with 47 tackles, nine sacks, and one INT in 14 starts. He brought his A-game to the postseason as well and even recorded a strip-sack on Patrick Mahomes during their Super Bowl LIV loss.

His second year was totally different. Bosa had to sit out all of San Francisco's 14 games after tearing his ACL in the MetLife Stadium on Sept. 20, 2020. The 2019 second overall pick had to painfully watch the 49ers' 2020 season crumble as they fell to the bottom of the NFC West, which they dominated the previous season.

The 49ers have high hopes for the upcoming 2021 season and Bosa's current rehab form should definitely get them excited. If the 2021 version of Bosa is better, at least according to him, then the entire league should watch out.
