As it tends to be, Monday night's San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks matchup is a battle of wills. The Seahawks' powerful offense has been pushing the immovable San Francisco defense to the limit, and it's given fans quite a spectacle with all of the highlights they have given so far. However, they have not gotten into the end zone.

The latest big play that happened was the incredible fumble forced by a determined Jaquiski Tartt against rookie wide receiver D.K. Metcalf. It is easily one of the biggest defensive plays of the week, given the situation.

Metcalf managed to shake Tartt initially with a beautiful jab step, but he was the only body between the ball and the Seahawks leading by four at halftime. His persistence to snag the ball loose was a fantastic piece of play.

The San Francisco defense is one of the best pass-defense teams in the NFL, and this beautiful play is an exhibit of the 49ers' dominance on the season. They will look to build on this magnificent stop and finish with the W.
