The Detroit Pistons aren’t among the teams reported to be included in Kyrie Irving’s wishlist after requesting a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers, but that won’t stop its fans from channeling their inner general managers.

In a fantasy scenario made up by a Twitter user, the Pistons were supposed to throw in Andre Drummond, Reggie Jackson, and Stanley Johnson for Kyrie Irving alone. This could have passed as just another random trade machine fail, but things got more interesting when two of the players involved responded to the fan-made proposal.

The idea was a total reach, and that’s being nice already, but Detroit does have a number of tradable pieces if they ever reach a talking point with the Cavaliers.

Although that’s one effective way to get their players’ attention, as it seems.
