Minnesota Timberwolves' franchise star Anthony Edwards will make his second NBA All-Star appearance in Indianapolis as him and his teammates gear up for a second-half run during their already impressive season. Edwards didn't have his own signature sneaker during last year's game, but Adidas will release a special ‘All-Star' edition of the AE1 to celebrate the young star's accolade. Check out our Sneakers news for more upcoming releases and breaking content!

The Adidas AE1 first released in December 2023 and quickly became one of the more hyped signature models in the NBA today. Of course, much of this is backed-up by Edwards' sensational play on the court, but releases have been rather limited and the value of the sneakers continues to grow. Following the debut “With Love” colorway and the most recent “New Wave” colorway, Adidas will drop an iridescent “All-Star” colorway right before the festivities begin.

Anthony Edwards will be the first to advocate for his sneakers as the best in the NBA and fans have been clamoring to get their hands on a pair. The Adidas AE1 stands out for its futuristic design and endless possibility for color combinations and schemes. As with most pairs we've seen, the bootie, sockliner, laces, and heel will be dressed in black.

The main focus here is the shiny Metallic Burgundy that we see on the signature BOOST midsole. The design is ultra-comfortable and allows for added cushion through explosive movements. The shimmering burgundy extends to the black outsole and the shoes are contrasted by a Lime Green Adidas logo on the heel. The shoes also feature a reflective 3M material along the toebox that adds to its shine.

All in all, this is one of the more intricate colors we've seen draped on the AE1 and these are sure to be a hit. With how limited supplies may be, expect these shoes to sell out quickly and fetch high after-market prices.

The Adidas AE 1 “All-Star” is set to release on February 16, 2024 for a retail tag of $120 for men's sizing and $100 for kid's sizing. The shoes will drop on adidas.com and can be found at select Adidas retailers, available in limited quantities. Make sure to head over to KICKSCREW for these on and after release date for your chance to get them.
