The Apex games are about to be deadlier than ever as we finally see Seer in all his glory in the gameplay trailer for Apex Legends: Emergence.

We first saw the latest legend Seer a couple of days ago when Respawn Entertainment released the theatrical short for the character. Fans were quickly astonished with the legend. They couldn't wait to see what was in store for them in the latest season of Apex Legends.

So what are Seer's abilities? 

First off, we can finally confirm what Seer's abilities are:

  • Passive: Heartseeker – While aiming down sights, Seer will be able to hear the heartbeat of nearby legends. Helping him discover their location.
  • Tactical: Focus of Attention – Releases several mini-drones and after a delay, they mark all enemies in front of him. This interrupts their use of healing items/revives. This ability also reveals their locations and health to Seer and his allies for eight seconds.
  • Ultimate: Exhibit – Seer throws out his heart chamber, which releases hundreds of mini-drones that form a sphere. Enemies that move quickly or fire their weapons in the sphere are marked, revealing their location and footsteps to Seer and his allies. Enemies can destroy the heart chamber by shooting and destroying it, in a similar manner to stopping Crypto and Horizon’s ultimate abilities.

 

What else is new in Apex Legends: Emergence? 

Also coming to the latest season in Apex Legends will be the devastating Rampage LMG. A heavy damage dealing weapon fit for you Rambo-types.

We'll also be seeing the return of World's Edge. Only this time it's decimated to absolute hell. The map will be chaotic and fans (me included) absolutely cannot wait to try it out.

Oh did we mention that a transport system is now available? Players can now use cable-hanging gondolas to traverse portions of the map, offering safe passage over treacherous areas filled with hot magma.

Respawn Entertainment will release Apex Legends: Emergence on all platforms on August 3, 2021.
