PlatinumGames showcased their newest title during SQUARE ENIX's E3 2021 Presentation. We get to see a trailer, which showed some gameplay footage. However, fans of NieR: Automata and Bayonetta don't feel hyped about the game, for a variety of reasons.

Babylon's Fall Open Beta is now Open for Registration

Babylon's Fall is a co-op Action RPG game developed by PlatinumGames and published by SQUARE ENIX. The game features a party of up to four players, clearing dungeons together. We got to see how different weapons play as in the game, although to be honest, it's hard to get a feel of what kind of game Babylon's Fall is setting out to be. The game will be a live service, although SQUARE ENIX promises that all post-launch content will not be monetized. However, the announcement that the game will be a live service was enough to turn off even some of PlatinumGames' most loyal fans.

There are also those who criticized the game's graphics. Given that it will be a PlayStation 5 game, the graphics felt underwhelming. The textures and the resolution don't seem to match the hardware it will be played on. Hopefully, PlatinumGames can still improve what they have so far based on the feedback of the community.

Thankfully, we don't need to pay upfront to try out Babylon's Fall. The game just entered Open Beta, and fans who want to give the game a chance can do so. Players can register for Babylon's Fall Open Beta by going to www.babylonsfall.com/beta/. The game doesn't have a release date yet, but it will be coming to Steam, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
