The Baltimore Ravens are set to host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17. The Sunday afternoon matchup is sure to be a good one. Baltimore's entire postseason is on the line. They are up against one of the toughest teams to beat in their attempt to extend their season into the playoffs. Like every other game in Week 17, COVID-19 and injuries are taking a toll on the matchup, especially in the Ravens' quarterback position.

Let's take a look at my four boldest predictions for the Ravens vs Rams game.

4. Tyler Huntley gets the nod

Lamar Jackson was limited in practice on Wednesday. Clearly, the attempt did more harm than good, because he did not participate in Thursday's practice. This is a pretty good indication that the mobile quarterback isn't progressing quickly enough to suit up for Sunday afternoon.

With that, expect Tyler Huntley to take the field for the Ravens once again. The backup quarterback missed last week after being placed on the Ravens' COVID-19 list. He has since been cleared and rejoined his team for practice this week.

3. Change of plans

In the Ravens' Week 16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, they relied very heavily on the passing game. Obviously, it didn't do enough for them, and they suffered another brutal loss to Joe Burrow. That being said, expect head coach John Harbaugh to switch up the game plan for this week's matchup.

Since the team will most likely be without Lamar Jackson again, the Ravens offense is bound to struggle in the passing game. This is simply due to familiarity with the quarterback. Expect Tyler Huntley to hand the ball off way more than he throws it, and expect a lot of rushing yards for the Baltimore offense.

2. Running powerhouse

Quite frankly, I'm not sure why Harbaugh didn't call more run plays last week in Cincinnati. The Ravens are without their top rusher in Lamar Jackson himself, but they are stacked with running back talent. This Sunday, expect most, if not all, of Baltimore's touchdowns to be rushing and expect them from two people in particular.

Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray are having themselves a year. Both running backs have five touchdowns apiece and have 799 combined rushing yards. Between the two of them, expect at least 100 rushing yards and two touchdowns against the Rams.

1. Not enough

Despite a heartfelt attempt, I don't see any way that the Ravens come out victorious on Sunday. The Rams have an extremely successful offense and aggressive defense. They are one of a few teams this year that has been fortunate enough to keep their most influential players on the field. This is most notable in quarterback Matthew Stafford and MVP candidate Cooper Kupp, the Rams' star wide receiver.

The Ravens will be able to utilize their run game to put up some points to keep the game close in the first half. However, Stafford and the Rams are going to seal the deal pretty early on in the second half. Finally, my boldest prediction yet: Rams win 34-17.
