After a stinging 34-30 loss to the Detroit Lions in which they gave up two late touchdowns to squander a double-digit lead with two minutes left in the fourth quarter, it seems as if Chicago Bears fans have had enough. And judging by a quick peek at Twitter trends after the loss, they want more than just head coach Matt Nagy to be fired.

The Bears’ Week 13 loss to the Lions is their sixth straight as they fell to a 5-7 record after a strong 5-1 start earlier this season.

Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace have been on the hot seat as the losses mounted. It seems that will continue after the loss to Detroit, which played its first game after firing head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn.

Pace selected quarterback Mitch Trubisky with the second overall pick in the 2017 Draft, ahead of Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Houston Texans’ Deshaun Watson. Understandably, it's tough to ever get over that. Nagy, meanwhile, is taking blame for Chicago’s anemic offense, which averages just 305.4 yards per game, the second worst mark in the NFL, and 19.6 points per game, which ranks 29th.

NBC Sports’ JJ Stankevitz reports that the loss to the Lions might accelerate the Bears’ housecleaning, making it only a matter of when, and not if. A lot of Bears fans, meanwhile, want the same, and have made it known on social media.

Chicago still has four games remaining this season, starting next week against Watson and the Texans. It’ll be interesting to see whether the Bears management will indeed wipe the slate clean or if Bears fans need to do more social media raging.
