In the days leading up to the Week 7 matchup against the New England Patriots, the Chicago Bears have some questions around the heal of All-Pro defensive end Khalil Mack surrounding ankle injury.

Mack had suffered the injury during the first half of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins, which he was able to play the majority of the snaps the rest of the way recording just two tackles. The fact that he was able to play through it gives reason to believe that he can continue that route if the injury is handled properly by the team over the next several days ahead of Sunday's game.
The Bears are hoping to count on Mack a major part of their defensive game plan against the Patriots as he has proven to be their clear-cut top pass rusher as he has been off to be a blazing start in his first campaign with the Bears. Mack has been producing like a legitimate candidate to win the Defensive Player of the Year award e as he’s second in the league with 5.0 sacks and tied for first with four forced fumbles that have helped the Bears hold one of the top defenses in the NFL.
This entire situation should get sorted out in the coming days that will see if he can give it a go in what could be the Bears' most important game up to this point in the season.
