Multiple wide receivers have been on the move ahead of the Week 8 NFL trade deadline, with Mohamed Sanu and Emmanuel Sanders heading to new locations, but it seems like Cincinnati Bengals wide out A.J. Green will be staying put.

According to Ben Baby of ESPN.com, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said on Monday that the team is open to just about anything between now and the Oct. 29 deadline but said that Green will not get traded.

Cincinnati has been insisting that Green will not be moved for a while now, so it's probably time we start taking the Bengals at their word.

Speculation has run rampant that Cincinnati could deal Green, as the veteran is in the final year of his deal, and with the Bengals looking very far away from contending, it would make sense for them to trade him now and recoup some value.

However, Green said over the summer that he wants to remain in Cincinnati, so it's entirely possible that the Bengals plan on re-signing him next offseason.

The 31-year-old has not played at all this season due to an ankle injury he suffered in training camp, marking the second straight year that Green's season has been marred by injury.

Last year, Green played in just nine games due to a toe issue, marking the first time he failed to make the Pro Bowl since entering the NFL as a first-round pick of Cincy's back in 2011.

The Bengals have gotten off to an 0-7 start and will take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
