The Cincinnati Bengals are heading to the Super Bowl for the first time in 33 years. They are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams Sunday night in the biggest game of the year. Of course, the franchise couldn't have gotten to the final without the dynamic duo of Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Burrow.

Ahead of Super Bowl LVI, the wide receiver compared his quarterback to a “god.” SportsCenter tweeted the quote Friday night.

“I do whatever [Burrow] tells me to do. He's like a god to me,” Chase said. Bengals fans and NFL fans idolize Burrow, and it turns out that his teammate has a similar outlook.

Both players are very young. Burrow is 25 in his second year in the league, Chase is 21 in his rookie year. The two have a great history together and won the National Championship during their time at LSU. Chase was one of Burrow's favorite offensive weapons in college. The duo rekindled their relationship on the field when the Bengals selected Chase in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Now, they have an opportunity that most first and second-year players don't get. Burrow is the starting quarterback in the Super Bowl in his second season in the NFL. Chase is a top receiver for Super Bowl LVI as a rookie.

There's no doubt that the two have high respect and high expectations for one another, and under their leadership, the Bengals are a force to be reckoned with.
