Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals put forth an absolutely dominant display against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in their Divisional Round matchup on Sunday night. Burrow, in particular, came out with another eyebrow-raising performance that had both fans and pundits buzzing. So much so, that it had the 26-year-old quarterback feeling himself during the game.

After scoring his second touchdown against the Bills, Burrow had a hyped reaction as he made his way back to the bench. The Pro Bowl quarterback declared that ā€œI'm him.ā€ The Bengals superstar may have forgotten he was mic'd up and that the entire world heard him utter that bold statement.

Burrow was asked about his declaration ahead of the Bengals' AFC Championship Game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Joe seemed a bit ashamed by all this as he tried to make sense of what he really meant by his statement:

ā€œDid I say that? Sometimes you black out out there, I guess. I don't know,ā€ he said laughing.

In case you need proof of Burrow actually uttering those words, here you go:

To be fair, Joe Burrow was indeed ā€œhimā€ during their massive win against the Bills. The former first-overall pick completed 23-of-36 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns, to go along with 31 yards on six carries. The Bengals needed a big game from him in this one, and Burrow certainly stepped up to the plate.

More of the same will be expected from Burrow on Sunday against the Chiefs. It was Cincinnati who came out on top when they faced off in this round last season, and Bengals fans will be hoping for a repeat this time around.
