Even though the Cincinnati Bengals have been far from a successful franchise in years, Joe Mixon has been a bright spot in recent seasons. As he prepares for his fourth season in the NFL, Mixon shared his favorite stat in the NFL in his career thus far.

In a post on Twitter, Pro Football Focus revealed that Mixon is the only running back in the NFL to have zero fumbles since 2018 despite having over 500 carries. Once he saw the tweet, Mixon responded by saying that it was his favorite stat in the past two years.

Back in 2017, when Mixon was a rookie for the Bengals, he carried the ball 178 times for 626 yards and four touchdowns. In addition, he had three fumbles, causing some slight concern on his ability to hold onto the football.

However, over the past two seasons, Mixon has done a remarkable job possessing the football. Altogether, Mixon has touched the ball 593 times since 2018, and he's failed to record a single fumble. At the same time, he's been able to muster up 2,888 yards from scrimmage in that span.

Despite Cincinnati's shortness of success, Mixon has evolved into one of the best running backs in the NFL. As a second-round pick three years ago, the former Sooner is entering the final year of his rookie contract.

While the offseason continues to progress, the Bengals have begun speaking to Mixon about an extension. When Mixon begins discussing his future contract, having zero fumbles in the past two years could definitely help him net a more lucrative deal.
