It's going to be difficult for the Coyotes in this matchup. They started their road trip with a 6-0 win over the Minnesota Wild and followed it up with an overtime loss to the Calgary Flames. It will take a special effort from Connor Ingram to get the Coyotes a win on Thursday night. Shutting down the Canucks is no easy task, but the Coyotes may be able to jump on them early as they settle back into Rogers Arena.

The Coyotes offense will struggle to keep up with the Canucks on Thursday night, as they average just three goals per game. The Coyotes are a well-balanced team, both scoring and allowing three. However, the Canucks statistically have a better offense and defense. The Canucks average 3.82 goals per game while allowing just 2.55. Connor Ingram has had a good season, but Thatcher Demko wins the goaltending battle, boasting a .919 save percentage and a 22-8-1 record.
It isn't easy to embark on a two-week road trip and have much juice in your first game back. It's been profitable to fade a team in their first home game in these circumstances.
