This has been a long California road trip for the Mets, spending the past week and a half in Southern California. They're ready to go home, and they want a happy plane flight back to Queens. They will be prepared, as they always are under Buck Showalter.

After unleashing the bats against the Mets on Saturday, in a blowout win they sorely needed, the Angels just might be ready to bust loose. Losing 14 straight and 15 of 16 will depress the mood in the clubhouse. An emphatic blowout victory on Saturday is precisely what this team needed to change the vibe in the dugout. You might see Angel hitters loosen up their shoulders and swing more freely in this game.
