The Bulls will be looking for revenge in this game as they lost to this same Heat team just two nights ago. Miami has been rolling of late, winning four of their last five games coming in. Both teams have playoff aspirations, but will the surging Heat be able to handle a team currently on the outside looking in?

Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread
The Chicago Bulls are currently in a dogfight for the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference. Despite winning three of their last five games, the Bulls have slipped out of that tenth spot as the Washington Wizards have been one of the hottest teams in the league and surpassed them over the weekend. Chicago will now have their hands full this week against four current Eastern Conference playoff teams. The timing could not have been worse for the Bulls to lose Zach LaVine for an extended period of time.

Although the Bulls have gone on this recent run despite LaVine being out of action in each of the past six games, Chicago hasn't faired well against top teams during the stretch. The two losses in their last five games have come against this Miami team and the Memphis Grizzlies. The Bulls will have to continue to lean on their big man Nikola Vucevic, who put up another double-double in the loss on Saturday night. Chicago will look to build on their road success this year as they have gone 19-11 ATS away from home this season, something the NBA odds reflect in this one with how the spread looks.
Why The Heat Could Cover The Spread
The Miami Heat have been on a roll lately and will look to continue to climb the Eastern Conference standings with just over 10 games to play. They begin the week in a virtual tie with the Celtics and will look to surpass them with a favorable matchup against Chicago. The Heat beat this same Bulls team recently and saw key contributions in the victory. Four Heat players scored 20 or more points in the win.
Bam Adebayo delivered a double-double and Jimmy Butler put up 20 points, eight assists, and five rebounds to lead the way for Miami. Sharpshooter Duncan Robinson had a team-high 23 points and Kendrick Nunn added 22 points of his own. The matchup bodes well for the well-rounded Heat team that is 8-2 in the last 10 head-to-head matchup's with Chicago. Miami is 25-16 ATS as a favorite this season and enters Monday's game with a clear advantage and momentum.

I'm tempted to take the Miami Heat in this battle, but I see more value elsewhere. With the low total that has climbed since opening, I am confident that Miami will put up enough offense to catapult this game over the total. The Bulls have shown during their recent five-game stretch that they are extremely capable of putting up points as well. The total has gone over in four of the last six games between these two clubs.
