Why The Knicks Could Cover The Spread
The New York Knicks have been having a great season. They have taken down some of the toughest teams in the league and have been one of the biggest surprises of this young season. They are coming off a disappointing loss to the Raptors and will look to bounce back on Wednesday. This Knicks team will be put to the test this season. If they can flip momentum back on their side then there’s no telling how far this team could go.
The leader of this Knicks team is Julius Randle. Randle has become the face of the Knicks and for good reason. In their loss to Toronto he put up 22 points and 9 rebounds. He has been having a great season and will look to continue to ball out on Wednesday. Randle is averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds a game. If he can get going against Indiana then it’s going to be a long night for the Pacers. Look for Randle to step up and lead his team to a bounce back victory.
By Randle’s side has been RJ Barrett. Barrett is really stepping things up this season. He put up 27 points and 6 rebounds against the Raptors. Through his last three games he is averaging over 27 points. He has been able to score the ball at will and will play a big role in getting this Knicks offense going. If Barrett can continue to get buckets like he has been then the Knicks should be able to take care of business. The Randle Barrett duo is quickly becoming one of the best in the league. Why The Pacers Could Cover The Spread
The Indiana Pacers have been a competitive team but they don’t have the results to show it. Indiana only has two wins, one of which came in their last game. The Pacers dismantled the Spurs and beat them by 13. Indiana seems to be picking up momentum. If they can start closing out games then they could be a very competitive team. A win against New York would go a long way. The Pacers will come out firing and do whatever they can to get a win on Wednesday.
The leader of this Pacers team is Domantas Sabonis. Sabonis has consistently gotten better every year. He is coming off a 24 point and 13 rebound game against San Antonio. Sabonis is quickly becoming one of the best players in the league and will look to continue his success on Wednesday. If Sabonis can keep up his production then this Pacers team should feel optimistic about this match up. A lot of this game will come down to Sabonis vs Randle. If Sabonis can win that matchup then Pacers could walk away with this one.
The other bright spot for this Pacers team has been the return of Caris LeVert. LeVert missed the beginning of the season due to injury but has since returned. He is an impact player and his playing time is being ramped up. LeVert played 24 minutes against San Antonio and managed to put up 16 points. This is an encouraging sign for Indiana. As LeVert’s playing time increases so will the success of the team. Look for Caris LeVert to take another step in the right direction on Wednesday.

This is another very confusing line. The Knicks are definitely the better team yet they are underdogs heading into this match up. Fortunately it makes the pick very easy. The Pacers are a competitive team and they aren't as bad as their record suggests, but the Knicks are better. New York has shown that they can compete and beat some of the best teams in the league.
