The Orlando Magic will play the Chicago Bulls in an Eastern Conference battle on Monday. It's time continue our NBA odds series with a Magic-Bulls prediction and pick.

The Magic and Bulls will play on Monday as Orlando will take on the East's No. 1 seeded team. Chicago has raced off to a 24-10 start this season behind the offseason additions of Demar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball. Zach LaVine has continued his stellar play, as has Nikola Vucevic and the Bulls have all of the sudden built something to be reckoned with. The Magic on the other hand are in the cellar of the NBA with a slew of injured players. The players they do have are mostly young, inexperienced prospect types. The Bulls as no surprise come into this one as huge favorites over the Magic.

Here is how FanDuel has set the Magic-Bulls odds for this Monday NBA matchup.

NBA Odds: Magic-Bulls Odds

Why The Magic Could Cover The Spread

Orlando is still down a bunch of key guys and can't be trusted even with this many points. The Magic are 7-30 this season, which is the worst record in the NBA to this point. On the road vs. a much better Bulls team, this is a daunting task for a young Orlando roster. The Magic will also be without the following players for this one: Cole Anthony, Michael Carter-Williams, Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Issac, Robin Lopez, E'Twaun Moore, Chuma Okeke and Jalen Suggs. The Magic will have the rest edge in this spot as the Bulls played the Washington Wizards on Sunday night.

Orlando vs. the spread

The Magic are 16-21 vs. the spread so far this season, and 4-6 vs. it in their last ten games. Orlando is 13-9 vs. the spread as an away underdog this season, and has covered in their last four road games. This will be a tough spot however vs. a very good Bulls team.

Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread

Chicago comes into this spot as the much better team obviously and has a real shot to blow out the Magic despite being on the back to back. Demar DeRozan and Zach LaVine have been on fire of late while Lonzo Ball is back from his stint in the league's health and safety protocols dealing with Covid. The Bulls should be able to win and cover in this spot but it's worth saying that it's a rather large spread for a team on a rest disadvantage. Orlando is not good at the moment but they have found a way to cover in their last four road games, and in 13 of 22 road games overall this season.

Chicago vs. the spread

The Bulls are 21-13 vs. the spread this season and 11-5 against it at home. Chicago is 5-5 against the spread in their last ten games, and has covered in four of their last five at home. The Bulls are 9-4 vs. the spread as home favorites so far this season.

Final Magic-Bulls Prediction and Pick

This is a tough one as the Bulls cover a lot at home while the Magic have been covering on the road. Ride with the better team here as Chicago has most of their key pieces and should be able to pull away with this one. The first half line may be a better play as garbage time could always sabotage a spread of this size even if the Bulls dominate the game.

Final Magic-Bulls Prediction & Pick: Bulls -14 (-110)
