It is the final game of a three-game interleague series as the Minnesota Twins visit the Washington Nationals. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Twins-Nationals prediction and pick.
In the series' first game, the Nationals flexed their offensive firepower on Monday. After giving up a run in the top of the second, Luis Garcia Jr. would hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the innings to give the Nationals the lead. A Jessie Winker home run would extend the lead in the fourth, and Joey Meneses would add an RBI in the fifth. Overall, the Nationals would score 12 runs on their way to a 12-3 victory.
Game two of the series will be Tuesday night. It will be Joe Ryan on the mound for the Twins. He is 2-3 with a 3.57 ERA. Meanwhile, Patrick Corbin will be on the mound for the Nationals. He is 1-4 with a 5.59 ERA.
