The Buffalo Bills haven't had much success in the playoffs in quite some time, but they finally got the monkeys off of their back by taking down the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday. With a win over the Colts, the Bills won their first playoff game in 25 years despite a chaotic ending to the Wild Card showdown.

The game ended with a Philip Rivers hail mary that was short of the end zone, but it was the events leading to the final play that created controversy. Earlier in the drive, Rivers completed a pass to Zach Pascal that would have given the Colts a new set of downs.

However, Pascal got up after catching the ball and he was seemingly stripped of the football before he was ruled down, with the Bills recovering it. Even though it looked as if Pascal had clearly fumbled the ball, the officials ruled him down and maintained possession to Indianapolis.

Nevertheless, the Bills were able to narrowly escape with a win, giving them their first playoff victory since 1995. Buffalo was led by Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs on Saturday, who lit up the Colts in the air throughout the entire game.

For years, the Bills and fans in Buffalo have been victims of having to be in the same division as Tom Brady. With Brady no longer on the New England Patriots, Allen seized control of the AFC East and secured the Bills their first division title since 1995.

While they've achieved accomplishments they haven't seen in 25 years, the Bills will hope they have a deeper playoff run than the one they had in 1995.
