The Buffalo Bills released LeSean McCoy this past Saturday, and not long after the Bills parted ways with the running back, he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.

After McCoy's change in address, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane was very complimentary of his now former halfback.




















Of course, McCoy is very familiar with Reid, as Reid coached him for the first four years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. But McCoy isn't quite the same player he was back then.
The 31-year-old is coming off of a disastrous 2018 campaign in which he rushed for just 514 yards and three touchdowns while averaging a meager 3.2 yards per carry, by far the worst year of his career.
The Bills signed veteran running back Frank Gore earlier this offseason, and the thought at the time was that Gore and McCoy would split carries in 2019, but, apparently, Buffalo didn't feel McCoy was even good enough to make the 53-man roster at this point.
McCoy has made six Pro Bowl appearances while earning a couple of First-Team All-Pro selections throughout his 10-year NFL tenure.
