The Buffalo Bills are shaping up nicely but Jordan Poyer's contract situation still looms around the front office. Both sides have been in talks throughout the offseason and fans are hoping a deal is finalized soon. Especially with training camp right around the corner. Perhaps it happens soon, as Poyer shares a take that will surely excite the fanbase.

According to Coral Smith, Jordan Poyer speaks of the franchise very highly. He is eager to get a deal done soon, as it sounds like he's found a home in Buffalo. Considering Poyer enjoys being with the organization so much, a contract extension could come to fruition sooner, rather than later. The Bills' safety explains why he loves the city and the franchise so much:

“The team is just such a really cool group of guys. I always tell the rookies when they come in, ‘You really won't ever be around a better group of men.' Just the relationships that we built in Buffalo … those are relationships that we've built over the years that's really second to none, and I can't really think of a better situation for me to be in than Buffalo right now.”

Jordan Poyer joined Bills Mafia back in 2017, which is when Sean McDermott was originally hired as the head coach. Since then, Buffalo has become an incredibly competitive franchise. Poyer clearly enjoys his time with this organization and is ready to stay with the team for the long haul, per Coral Smith.

“I think we have the right group of guys in the locker room to [win], obviously I think we have the best quarterback in the damn league, so that being said I think sky's the limit for this team. Buffalo's been cool, man, I've enjoyed my time out there and definitely want to come away with a ring before I leave.”

There you have it, Bills Mafia. Jordan Poyer is happy to be in Buffalo and wants to win a ring with the franchise. What more could you want from a star safety? Look for him to hopefully sign an extension soon.
