The Buffalo Bills made a splash signing in free agency this offseason after acquiring Von Miller. He's still a force to be reckoned with and should put up solid numbers for his new team. However, the front office gave him a lengthy contract many believe is too long. Even so, Miller makes a bold Tom Brady take regarding the rest of his career.

According to Pro Football Talk, Von Miller has every intention of playing out the entire six-year deal. If that's the case, then the Bills might just have an elite pass rush for quite some time. We'll see how it plays out, but Miller sounds confident following through on this contract. The superstar pass rusher explains his thought process:

“This is a six-year deal, so I'm looking forward to playing the whole thing. I'm trying to play the whole thing out. Tom Bradys done it, Bruce Smith has done it. All the guys that I look up to when it comes to longevity in careers. So I just take it one day at a time, and I’m just gonna take whatever God gives me. My intention is to play the whole thing out. I'm a real sicko when you get to know me. My mindset is different,” – Bills' star Von Miller.

It would be amazing for Miller to see this through. The mid-30s is typically when we see players retire from the NFL, but some stick around longer. Tom Brady is still playing at an incredibly high level at (soon to be) 45 years old. It takes dedication and following a strict plan for your body, and the Bills' star is focused on that to finish his career, per Pro Football Talk.

“Whenever I leave here, the facility, the rest of my day is getting ready for the next day, whether there's massages, nutrition, whether that's getting acupuncture, cold tub, cryo. It's 2022, and we got so many different things that can help us recover. I'm doing them all.”

So, there you have it. Keep an eye on Miller, as the Bills' defense vastly improved with him on the roster.
