After the Bills practice on Thursday, Josh Allen spoke with the media about their upcoming game. Of course, since they are taking on the Buccaneers in Week 14, the Buffalo quarterback was asked about Tom Brady. The Bills streamed Allen's meeting with the media live on their Twitter account Thursday afternoon.
“He's undeniably the greatest of all time. On top of that, he's a great human being,” Allen said about his upcoming opponent. “But in terms of mechanics and how he plays the game, he's been able to win from within the pocket his entire career. He's able to decipher defenses before the snap, and he's able to make quick adjustments right after the snap.”
Allen went on for a decent amount of his post practice media discussion about the successes of Brady. He mentioned his ability to know where all of his receivers are on the field, and said he knows the playbook “better than anyone else in the building.” Allen also added that Brady's ability to continue his successful career after such a long time in the NFL is impressive. Of course, he recognized Brady's tireless work ethic that allows him to be the best he can be.
All of this in mind, how will the quarterback matchup pan out on Sunday? Although the Bills have fallen off their earlier season high horse, Allen is still confident in his team and their abilities for Week 14. As usual, Brady is laser focused on the matchup in Tampa Bay. The Bills will attempt to improve their 7-5 record, while the 9-3 Buccaneers look to increase their lead in the NFC South.
