The Buffalo Bills completed a very important task on their offseason to-do list when they agreed to terms on a four-year, $104 million contract extension with star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Bills star quarterback Josh Allen was one of the first to react to the news. Here's Allen's instant reaction to Diggs' payday, via the Pro Bowl quarterback's Twitter account.

ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted out the news of Diggs' contract extension, to which Allen replied to with one word, “Yes.” Don't get too excited, Josh!

In all seriousness, Allen doesn't need to get over-the-top with his reaction, because he- and the organization- knew this was something that was going to happen. Diggs, who already showed the skills of an elite wideout during his time with the Minnesota Vikings, has taken his game to the next level with the Bills.

In two seasons, the star wideout has exceeded the 100-reception mark while tallying at least 1200 receiving yards in each season. Diggs earned All-Pro honors for the first time in his career back in 2020.

However, most importantly, Diggs has been the alpha wideout that Allen lacked early on in his career with Buffalo. The star quarterback's game- and Buffalo's as a whole- has improved greatly with Diggs a part of the equation.

That's why Allen doesn't seem surprised about Diggs' payday.
