Since the Philadelphia Eagles announced that starting running back Jay Ajayi will be out for the season due to a torn ACL, it has put them seemingly on the market in search of finding more help at the position this year.

One name that has been prominently mentioned in trade rumors has been Buffalo Bills star running back LeSean McCoy due to his connection to the franchise and the need at the position. McCoy has finally responded to the talk by voicing that his focus is on what lies ahead of him while leaving whatever happens up to the team, according to Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com.

This isn't a resounding level of commitment to the franchise as McCoy appears to be open to the possibility if it presents itself to him. He has previously voiced that he enjoys playing for the Bills, but things could be out of his hands in terms of his long-term future with the franchise. It leaves him in the position of having to just focus on what he can do to help Buffalo turn their season around after what's been a slow start out of the gate.

McCoy has also had his fair share of woes as he has recorded just 170 rushing yards and 10 catches for 64 receiving yards in four games played this year. That said, he did put together an encouraging outing in the 13-12 win over the Tennessee Titans as toppled 100 total scrimmage yards that includes 85 rushing yards and 23 receiving yards on two catches in the contest.

If the Eagles do explore this route, McCoy could be a major addition as he has proven throughout his career that he can be a highly reliable asset in the backfield. Only time will tell if Philadelphia will go this route prior to the trade deadline at the end of this month.
