Wide receiver Terrelle Pryor got a chance at a fresh start with the Buffalo Bills a few weeks ago. However, it appears that his time with the team has quickly come to an end.

Pryor had not made much of an impact during his stint in Buffalo. As a result, he has been released, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter

This is certainly a tough blow for Pryor. Unfortunately, it is hardly surprising. The veteran had started the season with the New York Jets. However, he was soon released due to a groin injury after putting up minimal production with the team.

Pryor was critical of New York for the way they underutilized him in their offense. He registered just 14 receptions for 235 yards and two touchdowns prior to his departure. There was plenty of optimism that he would be able to etch out a role in Buffalo's lackluster offense. The Bills wasted no time in getting him involved as he played in 82 percent of the team's snaps in his debut. Unfortunately, it would only translate into two catches for 17 yards. To make matters worse, he caused an interception after a pass tipped off his hands. This may have been why he was virtually non-existent during the team's 41-point outburst versus the Jets this weekend.

The Bills have seemingly decided to make a number of changes on offense. Aside from Pryor's release, they also parted ways with backup quarterback Nathan Peterman. Buffalo now enters its bye week with quarterback Matt Barkley as the starter.
