Noted bully and current Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Richie Incognito is about to add a redeeming quality to his repertoire. The talented lineman joins many fans who believe Thursday night football is both a debacle and an event that creates unneeded chaos.

Asked about Thursday games, Incognito said (via ESPN.com), “They suck.”

“They throw a wrench in our schedule,” Incognito said. “It’s absolutely ridiculous that we have to do this. As physical as this game is, as much work and preparation that goes into this, to force us to play games on four-day weeks, it’s completely unfair and bullsh-t. The league makes money off it, and that’s all they care about anyway.”

Listen, I can make more references to the lineman's history of bullying, but his point here is actually accurate. Do not let the messenger ruin the message. Thursday night football DOES — without exception — put players at an extra risk. The game is physical as is, then we're asking those dudes to play on short rest? My goodness.

It is obviously worth noting that the Buffalo Bills lost to the New York Jets on Thursday night. Had the Bills won, maybe the lineman wouldn't be as disgruntled.

Other players — many, in fact — have complained about games on Thursday night. And yet, the weekly game isn't going to go anywhere. Not only due to the fact that people rarely feel empathy for athletes, but because owners make tons of (extra) loot off the product.

Money is really evil. Still, I like money.
