The Baltimore Ravens appear to have a strong interest in free-agent wide receiver Dez Bryant. However, they’re not the only team with eyes of the former Cowboy.

According to Ian Rapoport (per Chris Wesseling of NFL.com), the Buffalo Bills have also thrown their name into the Dez sweepstakes hat. However, they don’t appear to stand much of a chance of winning it.

The Ravens aren't the only team showing interest in Bryant, however. The Bills have been interested from the beginning, per Rapoport, but it “just does not seem like that's going to happen.”

The Bills could use another wide receiver after losing Jordan Matthews in free agency. They currently have Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, and Andre Holmes at the top of their depth chart.

Bryant’s fit in Buffalo isn’t ideal with both Benjamin and Jones also lacking that game-changing speed to trouble opposing defenses. But Bryant should still be able to be a productive receiver even though he’s not quite what he once was.

That seems like a moot point, though, with Bryant unlikely to pick Buffalo. While Buffalo is in New York, Dez apparently has eyes on joining the Giants if his recent comments were any indication. Buffalo also doesn’t have a particularly great quarterback situation that Dez would find appealing, with either AJ McCarron or a rookie set to start this upcoming season.

With Dez’s arrival unlikely to happen, the Bills may just have to look for another option to fill their need at wideout, whether it’s another veteran free-agent or another young prospect in the draft.
