Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers were in Philadelphia on Monday to face off against the Sixers. As it turns out, this game presented itself as an opportunity for Philly fans to blatantly try and recruit Dame to their team amid trade rumors.
Despite the fact that Ben Simmons' relationship with the Sixers appears to be improving of late, it's still no secret that both camps are still looking for a trade for the former Rookie of the Year winner. Blazers superstar Damian Lillard has emerged as a potential target for Philly and their fans made their feelings abundantly clear about this rumor on Monday night (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter):

The âWe want Lillardâ chants came early in the game as the home crowd blatantly confessed their desire to bring the All-Star point guard to their city. Unfortunately for them, Dame has been consistent with regard to his desire to stay with the Blazers. Sorry Sixers fans, but unless there is an unforeseen and truly shocking turn of events, Damian Lillard won't be heading to Philadelphia anytime soon.
As for Ben Simmons, the 25-year-old appears to be progressing in the right direction in terms of his game fitness. Nevertheless, whether or not this leads to Simmons playing for the Sixers in the near future remains to be a huge mystery.
