Errol Spence Jr. was disheartened when he announced that had to pull out of his fight with Manny Pacquiao due to an eye injury.

Spence and Pacquiao were supposed to trade blows in August for the WBC and IBF welterweight belts. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. At least for now. Replacing Spence is unknown Yordenis Ugas.

The 31-year-old Spence might have suffered an unfortunate setback, but he remained brash about his future, firing up a series of bold tweets on Wednesday, the same day he was scheduled for his eye surgery. He said he will remain resolute and make a rousing return.

Maybe he also needs to keep going to the library and check out spelling books.

Spence, who's nicknamed The Truth (or should it be The Threw now?) also said even his doctors, who are not boxing analysts, told him he will get back on top real soon. Spence is undefeated in 27 fights, including 21 wins via knockouts.

But Spence wasn't done. He also posted a five-word tweet, making sure to remind everyone that he's far from hanging his gloves. Please take note, Pacquiao.

It's worth noting that Spence was involved in a brutal car crash in 2019 and sustained facial injuries. A year later, the outspoken southpaw beat Danny Garcia via unanimous decision to retain his WBC and IBF welterweight titles. So yeah, he's a tough dude.

Errol Spence Jr. said he's eyeing (no pun intended) to face the winner between Manny Pacquiao and Yordenis Ugas. The fight is set on August 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
