Tommy Fury is thrilled about finally making the botched fight against Jake Paul happen sooner rather than later.

As soon as the new year comes, Tommy Fury will have his eyes locked on Jake Paul. The pair was supposed to square off this year but due to a “medical condition,” Fury was forced to pull out from the fight. But now, he's ready to get it done and has already “reached out” to Paul's team for a potential date.

“I do believe the fight is even bigger now. It's unfinished business. My team have reached out to his team to try and sort a date out for early next year,” Fury said via Boxing Scene. “My recovery process is underway I'll be ready to go in March, so let's get this fight back on track and let's get it sorted.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Fury went on to devalue Paul's stunning KO win over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. For the Brit, barring the “knockdown,” the fight was ultimately “painful to watch.”

“My thoughts on the fight were, it wasn't great. He was meant to be training for months and months on end and he went in the ring and hugged it out for the first five rounds,” he said of Paul vs. Woodley II. “I'm not discrediting the knockdown, it was a good knockdown well down on his win. But apart from that, the fight was pretty painful to watch.”

Paul has yet to make a response but is expected to address Fury's statement about the matter soon.
