It looks like we'll be getting Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence Jr. II.
According to Crawford's trainer Brian ‘BoMac' McIntyre (via Michael Benson), Spence has officially activated his rematch clause with the pair set to meet again soon.
There are no further details such as when the fight will take place. However, boxing fans could possibly expect an announcement in the coming weeks at the very least.
Crawford, of course, became the undisputed welterweight champion following his dominant ninth-round TKO win over Spence last month. Bud scored three knockdowns along the way and simply outclassed Spence in what was one of the most impressive yet shocking displays of dominance.

Because of the nature of the fight, as well as the beatdown he received, many urged Spence not to take an immediate rematch despite him claiming post-fight that was his plan. Some even called for him to retire from boxing altogether.
Spence did have 30 days from the fight to officially activate the clause, which meant he would have plenty of time to reflect on whether an immediate rematch made sense for him. Given McIntyre's revelation, it appears it still does, and in the end, it was always going to be unlikely that a competitor like Spence would turn down a rematch with Crawford.
One interesting factor for the rematch is what weight it'll take place at. The winner can choose between 147 and 154 pounds, and had Spence won, he would have more than certainly chosen to have it run back at middleweight.
Crawford, however, has the choice but may opt for a fight at 154 as well given how he's been campaigning to fight the likes of Jermell Charlo and Canelo Alvarez lately. Those plans will have to wait for now.
