In less than a month, the world will finally be blessed again with a Jake Paul fight, as the internet-celebrity-slash-boxer will be going up against arguably the toughest foe of his boxing career in the form of Hasim Rahman Jr.  Rahman is already showing plenty of bite with his trash-talk game, as he issued a huge warning to Paul during the fight's press conference.

Via TMZ Sports:

“Bro, [Jake's] a little boy, and I'm gonna treat him like one. That's what Woodley didn't do. Woodley gave him too much respect, and he sat back with his hands down and he got caught,” 31-year-old Rahman Jr. bluntly said when we asked where Tyron went wrong when fighting 25-year-old Paul.

Rahman is definitely not a paperweight fighter. Rahman is a heavyweight and should handle better the punches of Jake Paul than Woodley did. Jake Paul should also receive tougher blows this time around, with Rahman packing in a lot more weight than Woodley, who fights as a welterweight in the UFC. It could be remembered that Jake Paul knocked out Woodley in a much-hyped bout back in December of 2021 and in the process, boosted his stock as a boxer, for what it's worth.

Rahman adds:

“All of Jake's opponents have been smaller than him. All of them have been much smaller. This is the first time he's going to be in there with someone that's walking him down and much bigger than him.”

Rahman, whose father, Hasim Rahman, famously knocked out Lennox Lewis in 2001 to win the world heavyweight belt, will enter the August 6 fight against Jake Paul with a 12-1 -0 record, with 12 of his wins coming by way of knockouts. In his last fight, he suffered his first career loss when he suffered a technical knockout at the hands of James McKenzie Morrison back in April.
