Jake Paul is never one to shy away from speaking his mind. He's already claimed that he can be amongst the best around in the sport of boxing, even though he's only fought ex-UFC fighters thus far in Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
On Thursday, Paul appeared on First Take with Stephen A. Smith and once again voiced how badly he wants to fight Canelo Alvarez in the future. More specifically, in the next three years. In the process, Jake Paul claimed he's more athletic than Canelo while also saying he could go numerous rounds with the middleweight title-holder:

I'm bigger than Canelo, I'm faster than Canelo, I'm more athletic than Canelo. Can I box better? Probably not but after three years, that's going to be a big fight. Two biggest names in boxing going after each other.”
Bonkers, right? Jake Paul hasn't even stepped in the ring with a legitimate fighter, yet, he's going after one of the best in boxing. It's a wild claim from Paul but we'll see if he can back it up eventually. For now, Alvarez will just be sitting at home shaking his head that Paul believes he's up to his standard.
