Hafthor Bjornsson, AKA ‘The Mountain,' had quite the boxing match against Strongman Eddie Hall. The two competed in what was boldly being called ‘the heaviest boxing match in history.'

It was an interesting contest as The Mountain overcame Eddie Hall. It wasn't the highest level boxing match but it sure was a lot of fun for everyone involved.

“It was a hell of a fight, in my opinion. “I’m going to wait and see what the fans said, but in my opinion, it was a good fight. I got some heavy shots. He hits hard! Let’s be honest, he hits hard,” Hafthor Bjornsson told iFL TV.

“I understood his game plan was to take me down. I needed to keep my left hand up, be careful of his right hook. And I did that. Once I understood my distance and his game plan, it was my game.”

Eddie Hall is currently hoping to book a rematch against The Mountain. The contest was one he feels could have different results should he be able to take him on in a boxing match again.

“You know what, I can take things like a man,” Hall said in a video posted to his Instagram account after the fight. “It is what it is. It’s boxing. At the end of the day, I’ve literally fought the biggest man on the planet in a boxing match. I’d like to see anybody else get the balls to do that.

“It’s been a hell of the journey. I enjoyed it. Hopefully, there is a rematch. We can do business again. I just want to wish everyone out there to stay safe, stay positive, keep moving forward in life.”

The Mountian is looking to fight again but it looks like Eddie Hall is not the person he wants for his next boxing match. Thor is hoping for a ‘proper boxer' for his next fight.

“I’m learning. I’m loving this journey and I’m still a beginner,” he said. “I would say I’m okay in the beginning, I’ve learned a lot in a short period of time. So who knows where I’ll be a year from now. How much can I improve a year from now?”

“Maybe I’ll be able to fight a proper guy,” he continued. Who knows? The thing is … the only thing stopping you is your mind. And I believe in myself and I believe I can go as far as I want. And as long as I’m enjoying this journey, I’ll keep going.”
