Canelo Alvarez and Saunders will square off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in a 12-round super middleweight title unification bout. Saunders, who holds the WBO belt, will enter the fight with a spotless record, having gone 30-0 in his career so far, 14 of which came in the knockout route. Yet, despite this, he is still considered the underdog to Alvarez, who will put his WBC and WBA super middleweight championships on the line.
Facing Canelo Alvarez, a man who is at the very top of his game is already a tall order in itself for Saunders. Still, the mountain will be a lot tougher to climb considering the British will likely face off with 65,000 other people who will fill up the AT&T stadium, with the majority of them rooting for Alvarez.
Nevertheless, Fury has been there and done that when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko for the heavyweight crown in Dusseldorf, Germany, with most of the crowd cheering for the Ukrainian. Fury has likely offered his words of advice to Saunders on how to go about arguably the biggest fight of his life. We'll find out on Saturday if Saunders can indeed shock the world.
