It’s been a couple of years now since DeMarcus Ware decided to hang up his cleats. But the legendary pass rusher is still keeping himself busy by mentoring other pass rushers, which what he will get to do for his former team, the Denver Broncos.

According to Mike Klis of 9NEWS, Ware will spend the last two weeks of the offseason helping instruct the Broncos pass rushers.

Ware spent the final three seasons of his illustrious NFL career with the Denver and recorded 21.5 sacks as a Bronco. He also had two sacks against the Carolina Panthers to help the Broncos win the Super Bowl in 2016.

Ware is already familiar with a host of the Broncos’ pass rushers as he spent time playing alongside the likes of Von Miller, Shane Ray, and Shaq Barrett prior to his retirement.

However, it’ll be an opportunity for rookie Bradley Chubb, fifth overall pick in this year’s draft, to get his chance to learn from one of the greatest pass rushers of all-time. Ware is No. 8 on the NFL’s all-time sacks list with 138.5 during his 12-year NFL career.

The Broncos don’t need much help in the way of pass rushing because of all that raw talent they have with Miller, Ray, and Chubb. But apart from Miller, their other pass rushers can still stand to get a lot better. If Ware can successfully do so in his two weeks with the team, the already formidable Denver defense could just get that little bit better this season.
