The rumors surrounding the Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers don't appear likely to end anytime soon. The Broncos hired former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett to be their next head coach, but that's not the only coach on the staff with a connection to Rodgers. On Tuesday, Denver added another coach with ties to the Packers star, as reported by Mike Klis of 9News.

The Broncos are adding former tight end Ben Steele to their offensive staff. Steele caught the first professional touchdown pass thrown by Packers star Aaron Rodgers back in a 2005 preseason game.

Steele served as an assistant offensive line coach for the Minnesota Vikings under new Broncos quarterbacks coach Klint Kubiak, who called plays for Minnesota. Whether intentional or not, the connections to Rodgers keep on piling up in Denver's coaching staff.

First, Hackett, who Rodgers developed a great connection with during their time together with the Packers, was brought in as the team's head coach. Then, former Green Bay tight ends coach Justin Outten was hired to be the Broncos' offensive coordinator.

Now, Ben Steele, who played with Rodgers on the Packers, has been added to the staff. It remains to be seen if these connections will attract any attention from the Green Bay star, though it's becoming impossible to ignore the Broncos' ties to the Packers.
