There has been a buzz around the Denver Broncos since Joe Flacco joined the team and running back Phillip Lindsay is excited to play with him. Lindsay said one of the first things he noticed with Flacco around the team is just how much he tries to keep everyone involved.

“He’s a great man. He is,” Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay said after practice on June 5 via Broncos Wire. “I haven’t been here long enough, but I’ll tell you this. Joe Flacco is always interacting with everyone in the locker room. You can tell that he’s a born and natural leader.”

Flacco has had some struggles the last couple of years but is going back to a similar system to the one he ran in 2014, a year Flacco threw a career-high 27 touchdown passes. Lindsay has also noticed just how confident Flacco is in the new system and his craft and thinks that can help rub off on the rest of the team.

“He’s confident in his abilities and he’s been there,” Lindsay said of Flacco. “He’s been to the Super Bowl. I’m excited. He knows what he’s doing. When it comes to the season, you get turned up. It’s a different feeling. He’s been through the fire, games in and out, so I’m excited about this season.”

The Broncos have had good teams the last couple of years but haven't had the quarterback to put them over the edge. With Flacco now on board the hope is that the team can finally get back over that hump.
